I have a souvenir from a member of North Korean's soccer federation from 1999. I was a driver during the 1999 Women's World Cup and I was taking this guy from one of the headquarters to his hotel when North Korea was in Boston. It's his business card and a case for a watch that was for the 2002 World Cup. I used to have the watch too but I think I tossed it after it stopped working.
This was right before North Korea played the US so I assume he was there as part of their delegation for that game. I found it odd too that he was telling me about the 2002 World Cup in South Korea even though he represented North Korea. Not that I minded getting a watch from him with the 2002 World Cup logo, but other than the logo it just seemed like a regular watch to me.
