Hi everyone.
There will be a WE8/PES4 tournament held at May 25th by the Rang a Rang Channel Management. This tournament will be held in the USA and in Northern Virginia area which is where I live. I am friends with Khosro for those of you who watch that channel would know him, the host of that show, and it is official. As of right now I know about 25 people on top of my head who are 100% joining the tournament. I wanted to see if there are any members here who live in Virginia/Maryland and are interested to join.

Here are some info:
The tournament will 95% be held on 25th and will take place the whole day.
- 100% the final game and 90% the 2nd round games will be broadcasted live on the Rang a Rang Channel, so everyone of you Wining 11 fans can watch this thing live.
- There is a $50 fee to be part of this tournament.
- The games will be 10 min long each, and will be played on PS2 only.
- The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will definitely get awards, as of right now it is not yet decided. But most likely some portions of money that will be collected from the total of the ticket fees.
Also, not 100% yet, but we have been talking about this too:
If we get an appropriate number of people on this tournament, and collect a reasonable amount of money, we will be willing to save that money and make this Tournament even national and for ex: send our top 3 winners to challenge the likes of others in lets say LA area and etc....
But that will all depend on how the tournament turns out of how much money we can make.
WE fans, come and join this wonderful tournament and show your skills.
If you will be coming, please PM me so I can give you the address and other info later on and add your name to our list.
Don t forget, WE8 not 9.
For more info PM me or simply reply to this thread.
I m really excited about this and I m sure whoever attends will love it....
See you guys there. Also there is no tournament.

"My parents, brother, and I left Iran in 1980, shortly after the revolution. After a brief stay in Italy, we packed all our belongings once again and headed west to the exotic and the unknown: Vancouver. We had recently been accepted as landed immigrants, meaning Canada graciously opened its doors and we gratefully accepted; we arrived at Vancouver International Airport on my 10th birthday, three suitcases and one sewing machine in tow. After respectful but intense questioning at immigration, we were dropped off at a hotel on Robson Street, which was then still a couple years shy of becoming the fashionable tourist hub it is today. We were jetlagged, culture shocked, and hungry, so that first night, my father and brother courageously ventured out into the wild in search of provisions. I fell asleep before they returned. The next morning, I woke up at 5 a.m. and ravenously feasted on a cold Quarter Pounder with cheese and limp French fries that had been left by my beds...
Stacey was a nurse so Kurt knew she would be able to give him a pretty good idea of how critical it was. On the other hand her knowledge of medical jargon could make her words seem foreign to Kurt. “He’s sustained two injuries. The first one was right on impact, his brain was shaken around pretty badly. It might have even rotated and perhaps nerve fibers were stretched and veins and arteries might have torn too. The second one is an open wound where the skull broke. The brain is exposed in that area. He was probably hit by some kind of sharp object during the collision.” Stacey unsuccessfully tried to disguise a horrifying yelp that she let out. “It's possible the area around the wound is undamaged. He might be facing long-term disabilities. He’s lost a lot of blood and his blood pressure has really dropped from the trauma. He’s really weakened by the blood loss. Plus there’s the loss of oxygen to the brain. The damage may be catastrophic. And then there’s infection…” “When w...
